Crooked River Fly Fishing Trips

Fly fishing guides for the Crooked River in Central Oregon are provided by Carbone's Flyfishing.
Flyfishing the Crooked River east of Bend Oregon for rainbow trout is an
enjoyable way to experience fly fishing in the high desert.

The River

The Crooked River originates high in the Ochoco Mountains. It cuts through the rugged high desert of Central Oregon to its confluence with the Deschutes River north of Bend Oregon. This scenic high desert canyon and its array of wildlife is a beautiful and intimate setting for a flyfishing trip.
The Fish & Hatches

The Crooked River offers rainbow trout that are firm, colorful and good fighters. The hatches peak in the spring and summer. There are occasional hatches possible any month of the year. Caddis, mayfly and midge hatches are available. Scuds are always present making the nymph fishing a year round pursuit.  The Crooked River is a year round fishery.
