The Fish & Hatches
The Crooked River offers rainbow
trout that are firm, colorful and good fighters. The hatches peak in
the spring and summer. There are occasional hatches possible any
month of the year. Caddis, mayfly and midge hatches are available.
Scuds are always present making the nymph fishing a year round
pursuit. The Crooked River is a year round fishery.
